ACCREDITATION & STRATEGIC PLAN

Missoula Public Health (MPH) is an accredited public health department. This achievement was granted by the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), signifying MPH’s commitment to providing high-quality public health services.

Accreditation is voluntary and indicates that MPH has met rigorous standards for excellence in their services. MPH received its initial accreditation in March 2014 and was among the first 33 health departments in the United States to achieve this recognition.

MPH was awarded reaccreditation in 2020 and was one of just 52 health departments across the U.S. to have achieved reaccreditation status. To learn more about public health accreditation, visit the Public Health Accreditation Board website. MPH has developed a performance management and quality improvement system to ensure it is constantly working to improve services and systems to provide the best possible health support for those in Missoula County.
