Take pride in prevention! Missoula Public Health is excited to once again celebrate Pride Month and champion public health for all.
Look for us in the parade and join us for the following services and activities.
STI Testing
Our infectious disease nurses are partnering with All Nations Health Center, Gay Health Task Force, Open Aid Alliance, and Montana Two Spirit Society to offer free testing. HIV, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis testing will be available. To get connected to testing, look for the Missoula Public Health van during the following times:
- Missoula Pride Two Spirit Powwow, Friday June 20th 1:00pm-5:00pm in Caras Park
- Missoula Pride Block Party, Saturday June 21st 11:00am-5:00pm in the Health Corner
Vaccinations
Our Immunization Clinic team will be at the Missoula Pride Block Party with vaccines for Tdap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HPV, MPOX, MMR, and Covid. To get connected to vaccines, look for the Missoula Public Health van Saturday June 21st 11:00am-4:00pm in the Health Corner.
Make a Flower Crown with Health Promotion
Make a flower crown with our Health Promotion staff while learning about ways to support the health of our community. Our suicide prevention and tobacco education staff will be offering the following at the Project Tomorrow booth:
- Gun locks and other suicide prevention information and materials
- Quit Kits to help you quit smoking or vaping nicotine products
Consent “Photo Booth”
Help promote consent and healthy relationships with our consent “photo booth!” Our healthy relationships expert will be roaming the block party taking Polaroids of you with our tongue in cheek consent signs. You get to keep the photo as a memento from Pride while helping us spread the message to make consent explicit!
