Screenagers Next Chapter at Sentinel High School October 29th 6:30pm

Missoula Public Health is excited to partner with Sentinel High School to host a free screening of Screenagers Next Chapter.

Screenagers Next Chapter: Addressing Mental Health in the Digital Age is the second feature documentary in the Screenagers trilogy. The film follows filmmaker and physician Delaney Ruston. She finds herself at a loss on how to help her own teens as they struggle with their emotional wellbeing. Ruston sets out to understand these challenges in our current screen-filled society. She explores how parents and schools can empower teens to overcome mental health challenges and build emotional agility, communication savvy, and stress resilience.

The film is ideal for middle- and high school students and their parents and caregivers. Sentinel High School and the Healthy Missoula Youth coalition (facilitated by Missoula Public Health) are hosting the film screening on Wednesday, October 29 at the Sentinel High School Theater. Doors open at 6:00 and the movie will start at 6:30 PM. Tickets are free, and attendees will have the chance to win exciting door prizes. A light dinner will be served, free of charge.
