- The City of Missoula (NOT THE COUNTY!) rescinded all restrictions effective today, August 7.
- The Flathead Indian Reservation (CSKT) and Lake County, including all state lands, and private forested lands within the county, transitioned into Stage 1 fire restrictions effective today, August 7.
- Lolo NF lands in the Scapegoat Wilderness will also be transitioning into Stage 1 fire restrictions. Please note that all other LNF lands will not be under fire restrictions even if the county they are in has fire restrictions.
- Granite & Powell Counties, as well as the state lands, private classified as forested lands, FWP sites, and BLM lands within those counties are staying in Stage 2 restrictions.
- The Lolo National Forest and Bitterroot National Forest are rescinding all restrictions effective at 12:01 Friday, August 9.
- Missoula, Mineral, and Ravalli Counties, and all state lands, private classified as forested lands, FWP sites, and BLM lands therein are rescinding all restrictions by Friday. Missoula County’s could be effective as early as noon Thursday, and Mineral’s will likely be effective by noon on Friday.
- Sanders County, all state lands, etc. within, will be transitioning into Stage 1 on Friday, August 9
