OUR MISSION

What is Health Equity?

Pursuing health equity means striving for the highest possible standard of health for all and giving special attention to the needs of those at greatest risk of poor health, based on social determinants.

Social Determinants of Health

Social determinants are conditions in the environments in which people are born, live, learn, work, play and age that affect a wide range of health, functioning and quality-of-life outcomes and risks.
