Missoula Public Health (MPH) invites the public to attend the final screening of “The Invisible Shield,” this Thursday April 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Roxy Theater.
In the final installment of the series, “The New Playbook,” viewers can expect answers to the question, “With all the challenges the public health sector faces, and life expectancy declining, how will a committed next generation of public health workers overcome these obstacles?”
A panel discussion featuring a diverse group of students will follow the screening. These emerging leaders will discuss the future challenges of public health and how they envision a better, more equitable future for all.
“The Invisible Shield” is a four-part PBS documentary series on the history of public health. Beginning in January, MPH hosted monthly screenings, followed by community discussions.
Space will be limited, so people are asked to reserve their FREE tickets at theroxytheater.org.
